Shipping Policies

Shipping Policies

Offroad Elements offers free ground shipping within the lower 48 states for orders over $70 (excludes oversized/freight items, 813 Fabrication, SDHQ, Road Armor and apparel). We use UPS, USPS and FedEx as ground shipping carriers. 

All packages shipped to APO/FPO/PO Boxes will ship via USPS. Please contact us prior to placing your order to confirm your item(s) can be shipped to you. 

Expedited shipping (Next Day Air/Second Day Air/Third Day Air) is an additional fee and will be covered by the customer. Please note, expedited shipping costs are non-refundable, even if your order does not arrive to you within the paid-for time frame.

Customers needing shipments to Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico: Please contact us prior to ordering for a shipping quote. 

Billing/Shipping Addresses:
If you choose to have your order(s) shipped to an address other than your billing address, please be advised that we may require additional verification and your order may be subject to processing delays. Offroad Elements Inc. recommends allowing extra time for order fulfillment when shipping to an alternate address. Offroad Elements Inc. will not ship out any orders with different billing and shipping addresses until contact with customer has been confirmed.   
 

Freight Forwarding Services:
As of 2020, Offroad Elements Inc. will not ship outside of the lower 48 states. For international orders, we recommend using a freight forwarder or transfer station state-side to fulfill your order. Once your shipment arrives at the freight forwarder, Offroad Elements Inc. will be absolved of any responsibility (theft, loss, damage, etc.). Please be advised, for orders shipping to a freight-forwarder, Offroad Elements Inc. may reach out for confirmation prior to shipping your order. 

Incorrect Information:
It is the customers responsibility to make sure all information (billing/shipping/contact) is accurate prior to ordering. In the event you need to edit your information once an order has been placed, please be sure to contact Offroad Elements as soon as possible. If your order has already shipped and information needs to be updated, please be advised there will be a fee of $25 to update the destination information. 

Lost/Damaged Shipments:
At Offroad Elements, we try out best to prevent any damage to our shipments however, from time to time, damage may occur despite our best efforts and precautions. Do not discard of any boxes or packaging materials that were included with your original shipment; in order to fully process a damage claim, all original items and packaging materials must be provided. Offroad Elements Inc. is not liable for damage claims due to customer negligence. If you provide an apartment address or suite number as part of your ship-to destination, this is at your own risk.

In addition, Offroad Elements Inc. will not be liable for loss or theft of packages once shipped. 

  • Please contact us as soon as possible to get the claim process started. Many brands require photos for claims so please be sure to take pictures if needed. 
  • Please hold on to your original item, including the original package and packing materials. 
  • For freight shipments PLEASE INSPECT ALL ITEMS PRIOR TO SIGNING FOR YOUR DELIVERY
  • Items with visible damage upon delivery should be refused

All damaged or missing parts must be reported to Offroad Elements within five (5) business days of delivery.

Stolen Shipments:
If you live in an area known for theft, please take the precautions to have your orders delivered to a safe location.

Orders shipping to an apartment, multi-unit housing complex or town home addresses as the ship-to destination are done at the customers own risk. Offroad Elements will not be liable for any package(s) not received.

In addition, Offroad Elements and the shipping service used (USPS/UPS/FedEx/LTL Freight) are not liable for stolen property.

Freight Shipment Policy:
Some items sold by Offroad Elements Inc. are shipped LTL Freight due to their size and weight. Please read below for how freight shipping works:

  • It is the customers responsibility to schedule and accept the delivery in a timely manner. The freight company will reach out to you directly to set up a time and date of acceptance.
  • If there are delays in delivery as a result of the customers inability to accept the shipment, storage fees may apply
  • Shipments should be inspected upon delivery and refused if there is any physical damage. If there is visible damage to the packaging, it is the customers responsibility to request to open the shipment prior to signing for the delivery. If the freight company does not allow you to do an inspection, or the inspection indicates damage to your item, take photos and REFUSE the shipment. 
  • If you discover damage to your item which was concealed at the time of delivery, please contact us as soon as possible. Please note, if there was damage to the item packaging at the time of delivery and the customer accepted the shipment, the claim will be denied. 
  • Freight items are NOT returnable once shipped
  • Authorizing the shipper to deliver without a signature or leaving a note on the door will waive all liability for damage from the shipper as well as Offroad Elements Inc. 
  • Please allow additional time for freight shipments to arrive (1-2 weeks depending on transit route, availability, weather, etc).

Order Cancellations/Changes:
In the event that you need your order changed or cancelled, please reach out to us immediately to ensure your product(s) have not shipped. If the item you ordered was in stock at the time you placed your order, chances are we will not be able to cancel the order as our team sends it immediately to shipping. Orders that have already been loaded onto the outbound truck cannot be cancelled or changed. 

Refusals/Undeliverable/Address Changes/Shipment Redirects:
Any order that has already been shipped and needs to be refused, redirected, address updated or marked as undeliverable will incur a $25 service fee which will be deducted from the refund or added to the order. If you would like to return an item, we recommend that all shipments be accepted and sent back following our standard RMA return process. Refusing a package has the potential to cause delays in returns as well as additional shipping charges.

Additional Costs/Requests:
Shipments with special requests added by the carrier may result in an additional cost to you:

  • Storage before delivery
  • Inside or limited access delivery
  • Redelivery due to missed appointment
  • Address change or corrections

Shipping Transit Times:
All orders over $70 (excluding freight items) ship ground for free. The delivery time of your package will primarily depend on the shipping carrier and the service level selected.

  • Expedited shipping is guaranteed on items that are in stock only. To check availability on a part, feel free to contact us prior to placing your order
  • Shipping cutoff times for expedited shipments is 12pm EST
  • Drop ships and backordered items will ship out as soon as they become available.

When selecting the shipping method for your order, please keep in mind that most carriers do not work on weekends or major US holidays. When carriers quote shipping days, they refer to business days (Monday through Friday- excluding holidays).

  • It is up to you, the customer, to do your due diligence when scheduling appointments for installations. DO NOT schedule installations or appointments with your local shop without having all components accounted for. If something is missing from your order, please contact us to begin a shipping claim. Offroad Elements Inc. is not responsible for rescheduled appointments, missed appointments or late appointments due to missing/late/backordered parts/orders.

Tracking Numbers:
Tracking information will typically be updated to your order and emailed to you once your order has been processed and shipped. In some events, Offroad  Elements may choose to have your order shipped directly from the manufacturer so it can be delivered to you as quickly as possible. If this occurs, a tracking number may not be provided as soon as your order ships and you may receive your items before receiving tracking information. If tracking updates are needed, please feel free to contact us and we would be happy to obtain that information for you.
