Not sure what you need?
As the Jeep JT Gladiator sees harder use and increased suspension loads, the rear frame and body mount area becomes a known weak point. The factory design was not intended to handle sustained abuse from larger tires, added weight, or aggressive off-road driving. Over time, this area can show signs of stress, deformation, or failure.
The Motobilt Rear Shock Bracket Add-On was designed to reinforce this critical section of the frame while maintaining the factory shock location. This system replaces the rear factory body mount, shock mount with a stronger one piece steel structure that ties into the frame and supports the existing rear suspension layout.
This is not a coilover conversion kit. It is designed for builds that retain the factory-style shock mounting position but need additional strength and durability in the rear frame area. It reinforces the chassis while keeping the suspension configuration simple and predictable.
By strengthening the frame at this known weak point, this bracket helps prevent damage and provides a more solid mounting structure for the rear suspension. It is also a solution for repairing or reinforcing frames that have already experienced stress or damage in this area.
Like all Motobilt components, this part was designed by builders who understand Jeep frame limitations, suspension loads, and real-world trail use.
Notes:
** This bracket replaces the factory rear body mount location and requires butting and welding for installation
*** Builders should inspect the frame for existing damage and properly prep the area before installation
**** This system is designed to integrate with the factory shock configuration and does not change suspension geometry
***** Shock mounting hole is designed to fit factory bolt size
