The New JL Wrangler looks as if it will hold a winch, but unfortunately, it does not in factory form. Rusty's has addressed that issue with a bolt on winch mount that uses the optional factory steel bumper. The Rusty's JL Winch Mount will accept winches with steel rope equipped or synthetic rope and can use a roller or a hawse fairlead. Laser cut from 1/4 steel and CNC formed for a perfect fit. The Rusty's JL winch plate is an easy bolt-on installation and comes with all necessary hardware and fairlead mounting plate.
Rusty's did extensive research when designing this winch plate so that it will work with most popular winches, even going so far as to request drawings from established manufacturers to be sure that they would work on our mounts without hassle, and we also test-fitted several winches in-house before releasing our final design. However, with all of the winches on the market these days it is impossible to test-fit every single winch to be sure it will work. Clearances are tight, and there are a lot of options out there. The mount includes a standard winch bolt pattern and will work with most reputable winch manufacturer's products.
