RPM Steering 2.5 Ton HD 2" Aluminum Steering Kit | Rubicon, Mojave & Max Tow (Wrangler JL & Gladiator JT 2018+)

After having my Jeep lifted with 37s and still running factory steering, it was time to replace and upgrade. I reached out to Eric and Gill for their recommendation and it was spot on with the RPM Steering 2.5 Ton HD Kit. The install was fairly straight forward besides a few little hiccups. I was able to hand tighten the jam nuts as best as I could and I'm sure that's ok for now but I need to find a crowfoot big enough to be able to torque the jam nuts to the manufacturer's specifications of 200ft/lb. The other issue I had was with the steering stabilizer relocation bracket. I wasn't able to install due to the lift kit track bar mount that was installed. I will eventually cut/modify the bracket so it will fit but until then I just installed the stabilizer in that factory location since the tie rod end had the holes provided. Overall I'm super pleased with the steering. It definitely tightened up any looseness I had and death wobble I was starting to feel from loose/worn out components. Next up is upgrading the track bars! I can't thank Eric and Gill enough for the awesome customer service/recommendation and the selection of top quality products they offer!
