Not sure what you need?
There is a clear difference between bolting on a bumper and cutting the frame.
The MB1260 Tomahawk Frame Chop Rear Bumper is built for JK and JKU owners who are ready to commit to departure angle and rear clearance the right way. This system requires removing a portion of the factory frame and welding in a new mini frame rail that ties the body and frame together. Once installed, the rear of the Jeep sits tighter, cleaner, and far less vulnerable to hang ups.
The Tomahawk design pulls the bumper up and in, creating one of the most aggressive rear departure angles available for the JK platform. When the obstacle gets steep and the ledge drops away behind you, the rear of the Jeep no longer drags where the factory structure once did.
Recessed D ring mounts are integrated into the bumper to keep recovery points strong without leaving hardware exposed. The smooth rear profile allows the Jeep to transition off obstacles instead of catching on protruding mounts.
This is not a cosmetic upgrade. It is a structural modification that changes how the rear of the Jeep performs on the trail.
Notes:
** Requires cutting a portion of the factory frame. Cutting and welding permanently modifies the factory frame
*** Requires welding to install new mini frame rail and body structure
**** Fuel system, exhaust and rear accessories may require modification depending on configuration
***** Final departure angle and clearance will vary based on suspension height and tire size
****** Intended for experienced fabricators or professional installation
