Not sure what you need?
The factory rocker area on a 2 door Jeep JK becomes a problem as soon as you stretch the rear axle. Once the axle is moved rearward, the tire no longer lines up with the factory rocker and corner. This creates a large gap behind the door that leaves the body exposed and throws off the proportions of the build.
At the same time, the factory rocker profile does not provide enough clearance for larger tires or full suspension travel. Builders end up cutting the body to make room, but without the correct armor, the result looks unfinished and leaves the Jeep vulnerable to damage.
The Motobilt stretch rocker armor is designed to fix that. It extends the rocker length to match a stretched wheelbase so the tire, rocker, and corner all line up correctly. This restores the proportions of the body while adding protection where it is needed most.
These rockers are designed to pair directly with Motobilt stretch corner armor such as MB1138. The corner armor moves the rear wheel opening back, and the rocker fills the gap between the door and tire so everything works together as a complete system.
This approach allows builders to properly package 40 inch tires and beyond while maintaining clean body lines and usable protection.
Notes:
** Requires drilling and nutsert installation
*** Does NOT work with MB1273 Tomahawk front fenders
