When stretching a 2 door Jeep JK, moving the rear axle back creates a gap between the rocker and the rear tire. The factory rocker no longer lines up with the new wheel opening, leaving the body exposed and the build looking incomplete.
The Motobilt aluminum stretch rocker armor extends the rocker length to match the stretched wheelbase while reducing weight compared to steel. It restores proper proportions and provides protection where the factory body falls short.
