Once you stretch the rear of a Jeep JK 2 door and move into larger tire sizes, the factory flare no longer lines up with the new wheel opening. Even after installing stretch corner armor, the outer edge of the body can still look incomplete without a flare to finish the profile.
The Motobilt rear stretch 2 inch flare is designed to complete that setup. It bolts directly to MB1138 and MB1138-T Tomahawk stretch corner armor and follows the new wheel opening that has been moved rearward to match the stretched axle position.
This flare adds 2 inches of coverage while maintaining the aggressive body lines of the stretch system. It helps keep the tire tucked within the body line while also protecting the outer edge of the corner armor from trail contact.
Constructed from 3/16 inch steel, this flare is built to handle real off-road use and integrates cleanly with the corner armor. It is not a standalone part. It is designed specifically to work with the Tomahawk stretch corners as part of a complete rear stretch system.
When combined with MB1138 or MB1138-T corner armor, stretch rocker armor, and frame mounted sliders, this flare helps complete the rear of the vehicle so everything lines up correctly from front to back.
