The Motobilt JL/JLU/JK/JKU Cargo Rack System is a great raised storage solution for your Jeep JL, JLU/JT. Constructed from 14 Ga CNC laser cut & CNC press brake formed high grade steel, the 5.6 cu. ft. Cargo Tray measures 40"W x 20"L x 2.5"D.  The Cargo Tray features multiple tie down locations for safely securing your cargo over even the roughest of trails. The Jeep JL/JLU/JT factory roll cage & rear seat location differs slightly than previous model years of Jeep Wranglers, thus, we have specifically sized this JL/JLU/JT Cargo Rack to maximize the raised storage space available. Rated at 200 lb carrying capacity, the Motobilt JL/JLU/JT Cargo Rack System is one of the strongest & highest rated carrying capacity cargo racks available on the market, thus, you have the assurance that your heavy extra cargo will be secure. We've included four bolt-on corner reinforcements, which are functional for added corner strength & add an extra custom styling cue to your vehicle. The adjustable Universal Mounting Beams are constructed using 11 Ga high grade CNC laser cut & CNC formed steel.  The Mounting Beams can be mounted with a hard top, with a soft top (up) or without a top at all.  The Mounting Beams reuses your factory top mounting locations & factory hardware & can be positioned in multiple locations for adjustability. The Mounting Beams also include extra tie down points & extra mounting holes to bolt-on other accessories. For the 4 Door Jeep JLU, the Cargo Rack system easily mounts just behind the rear seat, allowing you to use the rear seat in either the "up" position or folded "down" for added storage. For the 2 Door Jeep JL, the Cargo Rack can be mounted with the rear seat folded in the "down" position only or with the rear seat removed.
