Once you stretch the rear axle on a 2 door Jeep JK, the factory rear corner becomes a problem. The original wheel opening is no longer in the correct location, and the body does not provide the clearance needed for larger tires or full suspension travel.

Builders typically end up cutting the rear corner to make room, but without the correct armor, the result leaves the body exposed and the overall shape of the Jeep out of proportion.

The Motobilt Tomahawk stretch rear corner armor is designed to fix that by moving the rear wheel opening back to match the new axle position. This allows proper clearance for larger tires while restoring the body lines after a stretch.

These corners are designed to work with MB1271 stretch 2" flares, Motobilt stretch rocker armor and Tomahawk front fenders. When paired together, the rocker, corner, and wheel opening all align correctly, creating a clean and functional layout for stretched JK builds.

These corner guards also introduce a new integrated tail light and reverse light system. The recessed housing is designed to accept the Motobilt MB6504 5 inch round tail lights and includes a dedicated location for a Baja Designs S1 light below for auxiliary reverse lighting. This keeps the lights protected while maintaining a clean, finished look.

An aluminum trim ring bolts to the outside of the tail light, allowing builders to paint or customize the appearance to match the build. This lighting setup is integrated into the armor and designed around real off-road use where protection and visibility both matter.
