The Toyota Tacoma Rear Lower Control Arm Skid Plates are built to protect one of the most vulnerable areas on the rear suspension when the trail gets rough. Designed to shield the frame-side rear lower control arm mounts from rocks, ledges, and trail debris, these skid plates help prevent costly damage while improving confidence off-road.
The skid plates have an integrated approach angle to help reduce snag points and allows the vehicle to glide over rocks and trail obstacles with less resistance. By protecting the lower control arm mounts at the frame, these skid plates help preserve the control arm integrity in demanding off-road environments.
Each skid plate is laser cut and CNC formed from thick 1/4" hot rolled steel for strength and durability. The gold zinc chromate finish adds corrosion resistance while giving the skid plates a rugged off-road appearance.
