2018 Jeep Wrangler JL/JLU Leaked Photos: Blind Spot Monitoring System and Tail Lights Revealed!

Posted by Gillian Fournier on 13th Jul 2017

Released earlier this morning from the folks over at JL Wrangler Forums, we now have even more information on the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL/JLU. The newest upgrade with the highly anticipated models release is the Blind Spot Monitoring System that will be available. The triangle indicator can be seen in the side view mirrors and are similar to what the current 2017 Grand Cherokee models have. This system helps to make lane changing safer and easier for drivers. The sensors scan approximately one lane over on either side and when a vehicle is detected in the blind spot zone, you can program the system to alert you with an audible chime and illuminated icon on the mirror itself.

Also released earlier this morning were the new tail lights, thanks to some well-worn camouflage and a follower with a keen eye. The new tail lights are, by far, more styled than any of it's Wrangler predecessors. The tail lights finally look a lot more modern and have more functionality. The hourglass shape is fully outline by a signature LED, with LED brake lights and backup lights set within the outer ring. Check out some of the pics here and, as always, check back here and the JL Wrangler Forums for all the latest and greatest updates!
