Convert your JL: Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mount from a 5.5” lug pattern to an 8x6.5” lug pattern with the TeraFlex JL: Alpha HD 8-Lug Spare Tire Mount Adapter Kit. When combined with the TeraFlex JL: Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tire Carrier (NOT INCLUDED) and Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mount (REQUIRED — NOT INCLUDED), the Alpha HD 8-Lug Spare Tire Mount Adapter Kit can accommodate up to a 40” tire mounted on an 8-lug wheel. This setup will secure your full-size spare tire over the most extreme trails and rugged terrain.

*** Although the Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mount Kit (5x5”: # 4838910) (8x6.5”: # 4838940) will bolt to the factory tailgate, the Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tire Carrier Kit (# 4838900) DOES NOT work with the OEM spare tire mount.
**** REQUIRES Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tire Carrier Kit and Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mount Kit to support up to a 40” spare tire and wheel combo.
