Synergy Jeep JL / JLU / JT HD Steering Knuckles go beyond standard durability by addressing common weaknesses found in factory knuckles, making them an essential upgrade for every jeep owner. The increased material thickness in key areas enhances their resilience to impact, bending, and wear, particularly under the stress of heavy loads or oversized tires. The stock counter parts are known for the tapers wallowing out and ball joints popping/cracking from stress, Synergy has addressed these problems and more. Synergy offers two steering placements depending on your build. The stock replacement knuckles can maintain OE steering geometry to ensure tight, responsive handling, and direct bolt on with factory set up. The high steer option raises the bar for the offroad enthusiasts, allowing the drag link to be ran in the flipped position increasing the roll center of your rig, and correcting the steering angles on a lifted Jeep JL / JLU / JT. They also come with adjustable steering stops to ensure you are getting the most Ackermann angle out your build. Synergy offers two types of finish on the HD knuckles to accommodate the buyers preference. We use Black E-coat on the entirety of the knuckle to avoid them becoming rust seized with ball joints and tie rod ends creating a nightmare when replacing. The Black E-coat is less than 0.001" thick and does not affect tie rod end or ball joint engagement. We recommend pairing our knuckles with the Synergy Heavy Duty Ball Joints made from heat treated 4140 Chromoly steel for maximum strength & reliability.
