The Rock Hard 4x4 Fuel Tank Skid Plate is designed to protect your Jeep Wrangler JK 2 Door's vulnerable gas tank from damage while out on the trails. This skid is 3/16" steel, precision laser cut and CNC bent for a perfect fit and fits directly over your factory skid plate so there is no need to remove your existing one for proper installation. Drilling one hole is required for the one additions 3/8" bolt, which is supplied. The two front factory bolts are replaced with tapered bolt head protectors to allow rocks and obstacles to slide across them with ease, yet still allow you to get a socket on the bolt heads for removal. This skid plate comes in a black textured powder coat finish for long lasting looks and durability.
