The perfect solution if you're looking to run larger than factory tires but don't want to have to install a bumper mounted tire carrier! Our Freedom Series Body Mount Tire Carrier braces the limited hinges on your tailgate with our extreme duty billet aluminum braces.
Easy to install with zero cutting, drilling, or welding required. The tailgate operates just like factory using the factory handle to open and shut the tire carrier. Heavy duty billet aluminum hinge braces bolt over existing thin factory hinges to support the added weight of an aftermarket tire and wheel combination. The included adjustable tire rack lifts your tire and wheel combination from factory height all the way up to 6".
The 2 available factory Jeep rear bumpers (steel or plastic) have different cutouts, making the upgrade to a larger tire problematic. Changing to an aftermarket rear bumper further complicates things if there is an included receiver. Clear those headaches with our adjustable mount!
