The Rampage Products Retractable RockGuard Steps are designed to provide your Jeep Wrangler JK 2 Door with an entry/exit step and rocker panel protection. The step can remain down for street and onroad use or it can retract up, providing the best ground clearance for offroad excursions. The high pressure gas shocks pull and hold the bars in their standard rocker guard position. Add pressure to the bars and they lock into the step bar positions. They mount using 3 points with steel brackets, offering a strong, stable installation and won't have center flex or "give" when used as a step.
