Built for off-road and the abuse that comes with it, PRP’s Quick Release Weld On Steering Wheel Hubs are made from solid billet aluminum and anodized black for durability. Quick disconnection or release of the steering wheel is helpful in vehicles with tight space where its hard to get in and out and adds extra theft protection!
Each Hub is machined with finely tuned spline tolerances for minimal movement in the wheel. We made the release handle extra wide for easy grip and disconnection even with race gloves on. Designed with a 6-point bolt pattern to work with our PRP Steering Wheels (and the majority of other aftermarket steering wheels).
The quick release hub comes with a universal center spline that can be welded to the steering column of almost any Jeep, Truck, or Buggy. Shaft diameter on the spline is 11/16″ (Note: A steering wheel puller may be necessary to remove the OEM wheel).
