The stock 8-speed ZF transmission on the Wrangler JL or Gladiator JT is more than capable of handling daily driving, or a day out on the trails. But the stock transmission cooler is cramped, small, and does not allow for optimal airflow to keep the transmission cool. The Mishimoto Performance Transmission Cooler is a welcome upgrade that solves this issue. Designed specifically to optimize airflow that passes through the grill, this transmission cooler features a 93% increase in external tube area and 32% overall fin area. The unique fins within the tubes provide more surface area, resulting in cooler temperatures and increased performance.
