The SportGate spare tire support system [patent pending] includes everything you need to mount an over-sized spare tire securely on your Jeep JL Wrangler - with the “easy to open” convenience of your OEM tailgate handle.
MetalCloak's JL SportGate Tire Carrier provides the additional strength and adjustability to carry a larger spare tire. Laser cut 3/16" steel bracketry reinforce the tail gate structure and provide a mount that can be adjusted up or down for differing tire heights. Provisions for the rear back up camera are built in and the completed structure allows the rear vent of the tail gate to function as intended by the factory.
