The MetalCloak RockSport Silver 2.0 Front Shocks are monotube shocks that are engineered for strength, performance, and consistency. Designed to pair perfectly with MetalCloak’s suspension systems, these shocks deliver the balance of comfort and control you need.
The monotube construction of the RockSport Silver 2.0 provides consistent damping and superior heat dissipation compared to traditional twin-tube shocks. With a monotube design, the shock oil stays cooler, allowing it to maintain performance during long, demanding runs where heat can lead to shock fade.
The RockSport Silver 2.0 shocks are equipped with oversized 18mm chrome-plated shafts. The larger diameter provides greater resistance to bending or damage when the suspension is under extreme load, such as when navigating heavy rocks or sudden drops. The chrome finish reduces friction and wear, ensuring long service life and consistent performance in even the harshest conditions.
The double-welded bushing eyes add reinforcement helping the shocks withstand the impacts that come with off-road driving. The result is a stronger, more dependable connection that holds up against years of use and abuse without failure. The shocks are equipped with natural rubber bushings that provide the ideal balance of strength and flexibility. These bushings help absorb vibration and road harshness while maintaining solid connection points, adding longevity to your entire system.
The nitrogen charge in the shock helps prevent aeration and foaming of the hydraulic oil, a common cause of shock fade. By keeping the oil and gas separate, dampening remains consistent, even during extended runs over rough terrain.
The RockSport Silver 2.0 shocks include built-in outboard upper mounts. This design ensures proper alignment, better articulation, and maximum clearance for your suspension setup. The integration makes installation more straightforward while delivering a precise fit and optimized performance on the trail.
The RockSport Silver 2.0 isn’t just a strong shock it’s an engineered system component. Each shock is valved to work with MetalCloak’s True Dual Rate Coils. The result is a balanced ride that stays comfortable on-road while unlocking full articulation and control off-road.
The RockSport Silver 2.0 shocks come with a hard anodized grey finish. This specialized coating protects the shock body from corrosion, scratching, and wear caused by mud, rocks, and road salt. Unlike painted finishes that can chip or peel, anodizing penetrates the surface of the aluminum for long-lasting protection.
