This heavy duty skid plate will allow you to hit the trails with confidence and without the worry of snags or costly impacts.
Constructed from rugged 3/16" steel, the IAG Rock Armor Transmission Skid Plate features a black powder coated finish, effectively protecting against rust, scratches, and wear. The included fasteners were designed to sit below the skid plate's surface, making it possible to slide over obstacles while preventing damage to the vehicle, skid plate, or hardware. It is one-size-fits-all, as it conveniently fits on frames with and without crossmember bracing. This durable skid plate effectively shields your transmission, avoiding expensive repairs and keeping your Bronco on the roads or trails, rather than in the shop.
The IAG Rock Armor Transmission Skid Plate can be used as a stand-alone item or in addition to other IAG Rock Armor Skid Plates for maximum coverage. The IAG Rock Armor Transmission Skid Plate can be easily installed within 30 minutes. It attaches securely to the factory mounting points already present on your Bronco. No drilling is necessary; however, you will need a ratchet or an impact wrench for the task.
