Using a winch thimble is a safer and stronger method of winching than the traditional use of a winch hood. The Factor 55 Flat Link Winch Thimble is low profile when not in use and has rubber guards to stay securely in place without rattling. Using a D-Ring shackle for your recoveries allows you to lock in your tow strap or tree saver safely and will never release when in use. This winch thimble works with both roller and hawse fairleads as well as synthetic and cable winch line.
