The Factor 55 10 inch diameter Extreme Duty Soft Shackles are a soft shackle that is a lightweight replacement connecting rope that can be used in place of a d-ring shackle. Each extreme duty soft shackle is constructed of HMPE Plasma rope that includes additional abrasion and UV protection with a woven polyester jacket that is carefully whipped and coated with Fiber Lock. The added protective jacket is attached close to the knot, providing as much abrasion protection as possible. For their size and weight, these Extreme Duty Soft Shackles provide an additional 25-30% verified breaking strengths when compared to common standard soft shackles on the market today. These Factor 55 Soft shackles are Made in the USA and have been lab and field tested to assure consistent minimum breaking strength of 43,500 pounds and a working load limit of 8,700lbs.
