The EVO MFG Protek Front Axle Disconnect (CAD/FAD) Skid Plate for the Jeep Wrangler JL 2-door & Unlimited JL 4-door and Gladiator JT, adds much needed protection to the vulnerable front axle tube. This is achieved by retaining the partial factory skid plate and adding an additional 3/16” of steel full coverage skid plate, which not only protects the CAD/FAD casting and wiring harness but also extends forward to protect the highly vulnerable front steering stabilizer. The EVO MFG Front Axle Disconnect (CAD/FAD) Skid Plate comes in a durable black powder-coated finish and is welded for extra strength and longevity. Installing the the EVO MFG JL Front Axle Disconnect Skid Plate is made simple by using basic hand tools to get the skid plate on quick and easy.
