The Dynatrac Low Profile Ball Joints have been designed to have more clearance from the shaft yokes. The factory ball joints were large and in some cases, they could make contact with the shaft yoke. These ball joints were designed to be not only stronger and more sturdy but slight smaller to avoid and unwanted contact.
To top off the whole deal, these are fully rebuildable and serviceable for any potential issues after a harsh beating.

Notes:
** Installing knurled ball joint bodies permanently alters and creates unrecoverable wear in the end forging and knuckle bores. Knurled bodies should only be used as a last resort. The knurled versions accommodate vehicles which previously had competitors' ball joints which may have enlarged or wore the mounting location and now are switching to Dynatrac.
