Our Wrangler JK Rear Shock & Link Skid Plates are built to shield the lowest, most vulnerable points of your rear axle. These bolt-on skids slip over the factory shock and link mounts to prevent them from smashing into rocks, dragging on ledges, or getting hung up on uneven terrain. Their single-piece design reinforces the thin OE shock brackets, giving you strength without adding unnecessary complexity.
Each skid plate is formed for proper clearance and compatibility with most aftermarket shocks. Please note that Piggyback reservoirs that are located on the bottom will not fit. Once installed, the skids help your JK slide over obstacles rather than snag on them, improving off-road capability for any build. The skids are finished in a durable micro-texture black powder coat.
