DV8 Offroad D30 Front Differential Skid Plate (Wrangler JK 2007-2018)

This skid plate provides direct protection for the Dana 30 front differential on the Wrangler JK. It shields the pinion area and lower differential housing from rock impacts that can pull the factory diff cover away from the housing and cause gear oil leaks. The plate also helps prevent the axle from hanging up on ledges or obstacles by creating a smooth, reinforced surface at the lowest point of the housing.

The design uses multiple mounting locations to increase its durability. It is compatible only with the factory Dana 30 front axle and will not fit the Dana 44. The skid comes finished in a micro-texture black powder coat for corrosion resistance and durability. The installation is straightforward and fully bolt-on.
