Introducing the DuroBumps U-bolt Flip Kit, custom-made for 2nd and 3rd Gen Toyota Tacoma trucks. Made in the USA, this kit eliminates lightweight OEM U-bolts and flimsy U-bolt mounting plates. Boasting top-quality, 9/16” diameter U-bolts and a heavy-duty 3/8” steel flip-plate, it stands out as the most robust and durable choice on the market.
Factory-equipped Toyota trucks come with a less-than-ideal U-bolt configuration. With U-bolt threads under the rear axle facing the ground, under-axle clearance decreases. This limitation hampers off-road performance and raises the likelihood of getting snagged on rocks.
DuroBumps addresses this problem by directing the U-bolt threads upward. Our sturdy 9/16” steel U-bolts securely wrap the axle tube, positioning threads upward and reducing the risk of getting stuck or damaged. Additionally, the U-bolts attach the rear axle to the leaf pack using a 3/8” thick steel plate, offering extra protection.
We powder coat our flip plates Black, and include U-bolts that are clear zinc coated and powder coated black. Moreover, all Tacoma rear U-bolt flip kit options install effortlessly with our included high grade extra thick flat washers and tall nuts Gold zinc coated..
