Installation REQUIRES cutting driver's side Original Equipment (O.E.) tailpipe assembly. This 3" diameter BORLA® system is a True Dual design. This BORLA® mid-section assembly was designed specifically for the Ram TRX. It features the aggressive ATAK® sound and provides a more exciting driving experience without any drone. The mid-section contains Borla's unique SwitchFire® X-Pipe technology that eliminates the turbulent center intersection of a standard X-Pipe while truly blending the combustion pulses from both sides of the engine for increased performance and improved sound. The sound is further tuned via our Polyphonic Harmonizer Technology which utilizes patented units that contain pipes of different diameters and lengths to create multiple exhaust notes that harmonize to deliver a clean, rich, full-bodied sound. The result is an aggressive custom sound and improved power. O.E. tailpipes are Resonance Free pipes and are reused with the BORLA® 60717. Use O.E. tips, or optional BORLA® tips to complete this system. The optional BORLA® tips are available in angle-cut style with bright chrome or black chrome on T-304 stainless steel, or square-cut Brawler style with black coated T-304 stainless steel or brushed T-304 stainless configurations.
