AMP Research invented the PowerStep™ XL featuring a rugged, bold design, offering a 3in lower stepping surface than the original PowerStep™. This product makes accessing your lifted truck easier. The same automatic, electric-powered running board instantly extends when you open your door and retracts out of sight when the doors close. The rail is constructed of 6063 Marine grade aluminum with an integrated bracket system with precision stainless steel pivot pins for rock-solid stability to support up to 600 pounds. PowerStep™ XL is American designed and engineered.

PowerStep XL Running Boards automatically deploy when the door opens and will retract after a 3 second delay when the door closes.

AMP Research XL PowerStep Running Boards drop 3" lower than other all other PowerStep boards, making them perfect for vehicles with . In addition, most stationary running boards rest 1-2 inches below the body and are often still too far from the ground to be convenient for many passengers.

The PowerStep XL Running Boards tuck into the rock rail when retracted, providing excellent ground clearance and light rocker panel protection while driving, and the functionality of a perfectly placed step when deployed.

The board width is a massive 6 inches and perfect for any type of footwear.

All PowerSteps Include two pair of LED lights to illuminate the running board and ground below to maximize safety when entering and exiting your vehicle. The lighting will activate when the steps deploy and will shut off when the steps are retracted!

From the brackets to the boards, each PowerStep XL Running Board features a 600 LB load capacity - that is twice the weight capacity as most other steps!
